Double D Statuary

Double D Statuary was established in 1982. David had just finished his military career and moved to Double D's location on HWY 77 between Sinton and Odem, (just northwest of Corpus Christi, Texas). Settling in South Texas wasn't hard as the "miles and miles" of Texas are filled with wondrous rivers, beautiful beaches and friendly folk.  Double D sprawls across 9 acres, chock full of thousands of statues, fountains, tables, benches, planters and birdbaths, highlighted by hundreds of Double D copyrighted original designs.

David and his wife, Diane, supervise the design, production and sales, both retail and wholesale.  Double D is Texas' largest manufacturing statuary and produces some of the world's largest ornamental statues: the 13,000 pound hippo and 14,000 pound rhino being prime examples.  Double D has been featured on the syndicated TV program "Texas Country Reporter". the "Texas Highways Magazine", the book "55 Places to Visit in Texas" and hosted the 1995 National Convention of the "Ornamental Concrete Producers Association". Double D is open to the public 7 days a week, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Closed only on Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
